The people of Vermont believe in equal access to justice.
In a recent poll for instance, 3 out of 4 Vermonters supported ending qualified immunity.
Meanwhile, the ACLU of Vermont, in partnership with other local civil rights groups, has released a 10-part plan for police reform, addressing the public safety needs of all Vermonters. The first item on the list? Ending qualified immunity.
