We currently have a public safety crisis in New York. Like across the country, Black fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, are being killed with impunity due to this lack of public safety, partially brought on by bad public officials who abuse their power.

Right now, the state legislature is considering a groundbreaking bill, Introduced by State Senator Robert Jackson, this measure seeks to build a New York that’s safe for everyone by ending qualified immunity.
